Mandibular clefts are extremely rare, with less than 100 cases reported in the literature. Almost universally, these isolated cases of lower facial clefting have been noted to occur through the midline of the lip and/or mandible. In this paper we compare the classification accuracy of using compressed domain color (CDC) descriptors versus traditional full decoded images, for the purposes of topographic classification of wireless capsule endoscopy images. Progression of pediatric cutaneous mastocytosis (CM) is uncommon, but in adults, this condition persists and often progresses to systemic disease. Mast cell proliferation and differentiation from stem cell precursors depend on a number of factors, including a mast cell tyrosine kinase receptor (kit) and its ligand (the stromal cell-derived cytokine stem cell factor).
