We report a rare case of primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube. A 72-year-old post-menopausal woman presenting with abnormal secretion of blood-stained liquid, underwent surgery because of findings of atypical squamous cells (ASCUS) on a routine Papanicolaou smear. The histological diagnosis on cervical biopsy was of CIN 3. Adenocarcinoma of the Fallopian tube was incidentally found.

BACKGROUND: Incidence rates of cutaneous malignant melanoma (CMM) have been increasing for decades among Caucasian populations worldwide. Multiple factors identify persons at increased risk of CMM, including those with a family history of melanoma and those with atypical moles. Clear cell meningioma is a rare morphologic form of meningioma. This case report describes a very rare case of multifocal clear cell meningioma in the thoracic and lumbar spine. A 9 year old patient presented with back pain and popliteal pain, which were aggravated by trunk motion and knocking. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suggested a meningioma at the L2 level. Cervical paragangliomas are uncommon benign or malignant neoplasms, originated from the stem cells of the neural crest. Up to date it is still not easy to define properly their biological behaviour, the possible multicentric location and the association with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasias. After a wide review of recent diagnostic, pathological and clinical notions, the Authors report their experience, from 1970 to 1995, of 10 patients affected by sporadic paraganglioma and 1 by familial multicentric neoplasm localized on carotid bodies of both sides, left vagus nerve and left hypoglossus nerve.

We report a rare case of primary adenocarcinoma of the renal pelvis and ureter in an incomplete duplicated ureter. A 69-year-old male with macroscopic hematuria consulted our hospital. Retrograde pyelography revealed left incomplete duplicated ureter and a filling defect in the lower pole of the ureter. Benign schwannomas of the brachial plexus are uncommon tumors, first described in the late 19th century. These lesions, which are histologically benign, can generally be excised without sacrifice of neural elements. We present the first known case of multiple concurrent and recurrent benign schwannomas of the upper extremity in an individual who demonstrated no other evidence of neurofibromatosis, and we suggest that this case may represent a new subtype of type V neurofibromatosis.

Ganglioneuroma is an exceptional benign tumour of the duodenum and only three cases have been described previously. We report the case of a 71-year-old male in whom this pathology was incidentally discovered, as it usually happens with this type of tumour. A retrolenticular fibrovascular membrane occurred in the setting of a ciliary body mass in a 10-year-old black girl who had been successfully treated for a rhabdomyosarcoma of the lung. The results of a transscleral biopsy of the mass demonstrated it to be a pigmented adenoma of the ciliary body. A case of primary carcinoma in situ of the upper urinary tract in a 72-year-old woman is reported. The patient who complained of left lower abdominal pain was referred for a suspicion of left ureteral stone. A unique case of synchronous, trifocal mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma involving the uterine cervix and both fallopian tubes is presented. Unequivocal carcinoma in situ changes are demonstrated in all three primary sites.
