PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical features, treatment modalities, and visual outcomes of Aspergillus endophthalmitis in a tertiary referral center.
METHODS: This was a retrospective consecutive case series of patients with Aspergillus endophthalmitis treated at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute from October 2014 to December 2025. Demographics, infection source, microbiologic findings, presenting features, treatments, complications, and best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) outcomes were reviewed.

In this work we compared proteomic changes in non-human primate (NHP) retinas at the onset of early experimental glaucoma (EEG) and 3 weeks after optic nerve transection (ONT), as a means to identify regulators in the retina's response to EEG and ONT. OBJECTIVE: To describe the use of a double drape tectonic patch with cyanoacrylate glue technique for the treatment of deep or penetrating corneal defects in cats and dogs.
ANIMALS STUDIED: Eight client-owned animals of which five were cats and three were dogs.

We report a rare case with histologically proven melanocytoma of the iris that demonstrated diffuse melanocytic proliferation with uncontrolled secondary glaucoma and investigate the etiology of the intraocular pressure elevation. Anterior chamber retinoblastoma is a rare clinical entity. The authors have reviewed the records of 1500 patients with retinoblastoma to determine the incidence and prognostic ramifications. Of 30 patients with anterior chamber involvement, 15 were noted on initial examination and 15 during observation after therapy. Flat preparations of the retina were prepared by trypsin digestion in ten cases of Coats' disease. All of the patients were young males with advanced disease leading to enucleation. All eyes showed marked abnormalities in the arterioles, venules, and capillaries. BACKGROUND: As retinoblastoma (RB) is the most frequent primary intraocular malignant tumor in childhood, it should be the main pathology to rule out in pediatric patients with leukocoria. Persistence of fetal vasculature (PFV) is within the differential diagnosis of leukocoria, a vitreous disorder arising from a defect in the involution of the hyaloid vasculature in the embryonic stage, which affects normal ocular development and commonly produces associated microophthalmia. An early diagnosis and timely treatment are crucial for a better prognosis and life expectancy of the child.
