The uterus, ovary, and fallopian tube are rarely present in an inguinal hernia. We report on an operation to treat just such a rare condition for a right inguinal hernia. An 87-year-old Japanese woman was admitted with swelling in the right inguinal region and a purulent discharge from the vagina. Vital signs were stable, but the mobile mass was irreducible. Neoplasms of the fallopian tube are extremely uncommon. In addition, the incidence of a mature teratoma of the fallopian tube with incomplete uterine mediastinum is extremely low. In the current case report, we present a case of mature cystic teratoma of the fallopian tube with incomplete uterine mediastinum in a 23-year-old female. This mass was noted on computed tomography (CT) scan and sonographic examination. The patient underwent left salpingectomy and uterine septum incision during surgery. One year later, the individual became pregnant.

OBJECTIVE: Early stage primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube (PCFT) is an uncommon condition when strict criteria are applied. The aim of this study was to compare the outcome stage IA-IB PCFT to a matched group of ovarian cancer (OC).

We report a rare case of primary lymphoma of fallopian tube in a 68-year-old woman who underwent total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy for endometrial carcinoma. The specimen showed a well-differentiated endometrioid adenocarcinoma with superficial myometrial invasion.
