The main, but not sole, indication for an Ex-utero Intrapartum Treatment (EXIT) delivery is an airway obstruction due to either laryngeal atresia or tumors in the head and neck region. Here we present our Institution's experience with eleven cases: three teratomas, four lymphatic malformations, two laryngeal atresias and two dermoid cysts. The EXIT procedure was used to secure the fetal airway while maintaining uteroplacental gas exchange and fetal hemodynamic stability through the umbilical circulation. PURPOSE: Lymphatic malformations (LMs) are benign lesions. Most of them are found in head and neck regions as asymptomatic mass, but giant lymphangiomas may affect breathing or swallowing and constitute a major therapeutic challenge.

We present 4 case studies of patients with Down's syndrome and testicular germ-cell cancer, treated with conventional methods at the National Cancer Institute of Mexico, with similar outcomes as patients without this syndrome. There are several reports of testicular cancer arising in patients with Down's syndrome worldwide, mainly from Caucasian populations. We discuss some theories about the association and the possible increase of incidence.

PURPOSE: This study was undertaken to update our experience with follicular lymphoma treated with central lymphatic irradiation (CLI).
METHODS AND MATERIALS: A total of 47 patients were treated with CLI between January 1993 and March 2000 in a prospective manner. CLI consisted of mantle, whole abdomen, and pelvic radiation fields with a 1-month break after each field.
