Liposarcoma is a type of soft tissue sarcoma. Primary colonic liposarcomas are extremely rare. An 86-year-old man with diarrhea and anorexia visited our outpatient clinic at Okayama City Hospital. CASE: We report a case of a child with widely divergent congenital inferior tibiofibular diastasis with persistent sciatic artery (PSA). The dysplastic tibia and fibula were widely divergent, and the fibula was displaced proximally and medially with the foot alongside the thigh between the 2 legs, with PSA diagnosed on computed tomography angiogram. Liposarcoma (LPS) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma, frequently found in the thigh and retroperitoneum. LPS is commonly classified into well-differentiated LPS and dedifferentiated LPS. Histologic subtype, tumor location, and completeness of surgical resection are important prognostic indicators for LPS.
