We experienced a rare case of anterior mediastinal bronchogenic cyst. A 55-year-old female was admitted to our hospital because of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) and an abnormal shadow on the chest computed tomography. She had a 5.5 cm tumor at anterior mediastinum. The tumor was surgically removed completely by video assisted thoracoscopic surgery, and the diagnosis of bronchogenic cyst was established pathologically. After surgery, PSVT has disappeared.

Pulmonary actinomycosis (PA) is an uncommon, asymptomatic, and frequently misdiagnosed pulmonary infectious illness. Our patient remained undiagnosed despite extensive regular and invasive testing, significant intermittent hemoptysis, and repeated bronchial artery embolization. Ultimately, a left lower lobectomy was performed via video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, and a histopathological examination revealed an actinomycete infection.

We present a case of a 65-year-old male with a difficulty to diagnose mesothelioma. To be specific, three attempts were made to diagnose the disease, and only with a large sample performed with robot-assisted surgery, our pathologists were able to identify the malignancy. Aortoesophageal fistula (AEF) is a rare but life-threatening pathology. We report a case of a primary AEF that was successfully managed with temporary thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and esophagectomy with video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. A 73-year-old man was transferred to the emergency department with a complaint of hematemesis. A computed tomography scan identified an AEF due to aortic aneurysm. Herein, we report the case of a patient with persistent postoperative chylothorax despite right supradiaphragmal ligation of the thoracic duct. Computed tomography lymphangiography after lipiodol injection demonstrated a correctly ligated right thoracic duct but an anatomical variation with patent left-sided thoracic duct, which was successfully ligated afterwards by video-assisted thoracic surgery.
