We report organoid nevus with left oculo-orbital choristoma fixing the globe in hypotropia, precanthal skin tag, and upper eyelid coloboma and right limbal dermoid. Computed tomography revealed a dilated lateral ventricle and cerebral atrophy. No neurologic deficit existed. The coloboma was repaired, choristoma debulked, and precanthal tag excised.

The clinical presentation of trichothiodystrophy type F includes photosensitivity, ichthyosis, brittle hair, intellectual impairment, decreased fertility, and short stature, often referred to as the PIBIDS syndrome. While many of these patients demonstrate features also found in xeroderma pigmentosum patients, including similar nucleotide excision repair gene defects and photosensitivity, PIBIDS patients rarely demonstrate cutaneous malignancies. This case report demonstrates the rare presentation of squamous cell carcinoma developing in a PIBIDS patient.

PURPOSE: An unusual complication following severe head trauma in two infants is described.
METHOD: 'Acute traumatic encephalocele' or 'extracalvarial herniation' is presented as an entity, different from 'growing skull fracture'.
RESULTS: The acuteness of presentation and non-progressive calvarial fracture aperture, along with increasing size of herniated contents is the hall-mark of such pathology.
CONCLUSION: Repair of dural defect with a patch after excision of gliosed brain provides satisfactory outcome.

INTRODUCTION: Extrapelvic endometriosis is a rarely seen condition and it is occasionally presented to the general surgeons. It is often diagnosed incidentally.
CASE REPORT: In this report we presented three cases of inguinal endometriosis all of which were thought to be inguinal hernia preoperatively. They were diagnosed during the operation for inguinal hernia repair and treated with simple excision of the lesions with a part of the round ligament.

Seven patients in their thirties presented with cyclical haematuria, apparent amenorrhoea and urinary continence following lower segment caesarean section. Investigations confirmed the diagnosis of Youssef's syndrome. Four patients who had 2 children each opted for hysterectomy. The remaining 3 patients had excision of the fistula with repair of uterus and bladder. In this group, at 6 years follow-up, in spite of conceiving, 2 patients aborted with no further pregnancy reported.

An oral pyogenic granuloma can develop during or just after the first trimester of pregnancy. Usually, an oral pyogenic granuloma is an early, slow-growing mass that, on excision, does not leave a large defect in the periodontium that requires surgical repair. This article presents an unusual case of a very late, rapidly growing, large tumor that developed as a complication of pregnancy and an undiagnosed isolated area of periodontal disease.

Pseudoaneurysm formation and vessel rupture are considered rare complications of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA), and few reported cases exist in the literature. The true incidence of pseudoaneurysm formation is unknown, for follow-up angiography is not routinely performed unless symptoms recur or persist. Currently, the only intervention widely accepted for angioplasty-induced pseudoaneurysm involves surgical excision or repair. The authors describe a case of successfully treated pseudoaneurysm with a noncovered stent.

Keeping in mind the direction of the relaxed skin tension lines (RSTL), we used a local W-plastic rotation skin flap from the cheek to cover a large nasal defect resulting from the excision of a benign skin lesion. This technique, first described by Imre [7], is superior to the direct single-pedicle advancement flap from the cheek, or to any nasolabial flap, for repair of such nasal defects.

We report our experience of eight cases of isolated full thickness burns of the penis. Early excision of burns of the penile shaft and repair with a preputial flap or mesh split skin graft produces excellent results, with a reduction in complications and an early re-establishment of sexual function. Conservative treatment of burns of the glans, on the other hand, is appropriate and results in minimal scarring.
