Deformities of the periorbital soft tissue and socket after trauma or infection may involve the bony framework, orbital contents, and periorbital soft tissues, requiring careful evaluation. Soft-tissue reconstruction necessitates the appreciation of a three-dimensional defect. Structural reconstruction in conjunction with prosthetic replacement of the globe requires careful planning. Three cases illustrating problems and results after reconstructions are presented.

OBJECTIVE: Patients with retinoblastoma (RB) require serial examinations under anesthesia (EUA) to assess for response to treatment and disease recurrence. Monitoring for disease recurrence is complicated in patients with loss of fundoscopic view, such as with vitreous hemorrhage (VH) or cataract. PURPOSE: To report the 5-year outcome of an outbreak of Bipolaris hawaiiensis fungal endophthalmitis caused by contamination of intravitreal triamcinolone from Franck's Compounding Pharmacy in Ocala, Florida.

There are conflicting reports on the value of cyclocryotherapy in the management of glaucoma. This retrospective study was carried out to assess the efficacy and complication rate of this procedure.
