OBJECTIVE: To examine the safety and efficacy of using a clitoral vacuum suction device (CVSD) versus vibratory stimulation (V) to treat orgasmic dysfunction in women with multiple sclerosis (MS) or spinal cord injury (SCI).

OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this study were to investigate clitoral blood flow in SSc women compared with healthy controls and to correlate it with microvascular damage and disease clinical variables. We also evaluated the correlation between clitoral blood flow and sexual dysfunction.
METHODS: Twenty-two SSc women and 20 healthy controls matched for sex and age were enrolled in this study. Baseline Doppler indices of the clitoral artery were measured. Peak systolic velocity, end diastolic velocity, resistive index (RI), pulsatile index (PI) and systolic/diastolic (S/D) ratio were measured.

BACKGROUND: WHO estimates that some 130 million women worldwide are affected, and every year another 2 million girls and young women are at risk of undergoing the practice of FGM. Although Nigeria has a prevalence of 19% in 2003,a reduction from 25% prevalence of 1999 national survey, it still has high absolute number of cases with wide regional variation. This article is a summary of our experience with surgical treatment of 25 patients with hermaphroditism. We treated 25 patients with hermaphroditism since 1985, including 12 with male pseudohermaphroditism, 9 with female pseudohermaphroditism and 4 with true hermaphroditism. Decision on sex reassignment for these patients was made according to their genetic sex, gonad sex, social sex, psychologic sex, and the request of the patients and their relatives.
