Gestational trophoblastic neoplasms are a group of fetal trophoblastic tumors including choriocarcinomas, epithelioid trophoblastic tumors (ETTs), and placental site trophoblastic tumors (PSTTs). The occurrence of synchronous primary gynaecologic malignancies is a relatively common event. However, the occurrence of three different pelvic cancers is very rare. In this report, we describe the clinical, surgical and pathological findings of a patient with synchronous primary malignancies of the fallopian tube, endometrium and sigmoid colon. To our knowledge, it is the first case described in the literature with such an association of primary synchronous cancers.

We report a rare and unusual case of invasive Enterobius vermicularis infection in a fallopian tube. The patient was a 23-year-old Malaysian woman who presented with suprapubic pain and vaginal bleeding. A clinical diagnosis of ruptured right ovarian ectopic pregnancy was made. She underwent a laparotomy with a right salpingo-oophorectomy. Histopathological examination of the right fallopian tube showed eggs and adult remnants of E. vermicularis, and the results were confirmed using PCR and DNA sequencing.
