Chronic T lymphoid leukemias are defined as leukemias of post-thymic T cells. The CD4+CD8+ double-positive (DP) phenotype is seen in a few cases. Since DP generally occurs in thymic T cells, whether the DP T leukemia cells represent thymic or peripheral T cells has been a matter of controversy. In this study, we investigated whether ozonated autohemoadministration (OAHA) influences leukocyte populations in cows with clinical inflammatory disease. Eleven cows with inflammatory disease (Inflammatory Group) and three healthy cows (Control Group) were used for this study. It has been observed that immunological reactivity of neonatal leukocytes is diminished. It seems to result from lymphocytes immaturity. BACKGROUND: Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune hemorrhagic disease with distinct clinical manifestations such as extensive skin petechiae, mucosal bleeding, and even visceral hemorrhage.
