OBJECTIVE: Angiogenesis plays an important role in psoriasis, but its role in atopic dermatitis is unknown. The authors examined the dermal microvasculature of an IL-4 transgenic mouse model of atopic dermatitis to determine whether angiogenesis was present.

Quantum dots (QDs) have been encapsulated within gelatin nanoparticles (GNPs), which gives GNPs fluorescent properties and improves the biocompatibility of QDs. The objective of this study was to develop and evaluate the remediation of trichloroethene (TCE)-contaminated groundwater using both a nanocatalyst (bio-Zn-magnetite) and bacterium (similar to Clostridium quinii) in anoxic environments. Trichorrhexis nodosa, i. e. a hair fracturing into brush-like widened stumps, was analyzed in an imbecile 4 year-old boy without any sign of aminoaciduria or disturbance of copper metabolism.
