BACKGROUND: Nondisplaced metaphyseal fractures of the distal tibia, or toddler's fractures, are one of the most common pediatric injuries. Healing typically occurs quickly without sequelae. This paper was designed to report a rare observation of intralaryngeal aberrant goiter associated with goiter of the main thyroid tissue and chronic suppurative otitis media complicated by the polyp that causes occlusion of the auditory passage. The histomorphological investigation of the material harvested intraoperatively following rehabilitation of the purulent focus in the middle ear and the removal of the tumour from the inside of the right vestibular fold confirmed the diagnosis of colloid goiter.

PURPOSE: To investigate the proper nursing methods for patients with direct cyclopexy.
METHODS: Thirty-four patients (34 eyes) undergone direct cycloepxy because of lower intraocular pressure (IOP) caused by traumatic cyclodialysis were given clinical observation and nursing.
RESULTS: Thirty-two of the 34 eyes had normal IOP after 1 week to 6 months after operation. Among those, 5 cases were treated with the secondary surgery or argon laser phacocoagulation. Visual acuity was improved on 21 eyes and unimproved on 13 eyes.

Mucormycosis is a rare opportunistic infection but a fulminant disease. Varying clinical forms have been described, including cutaneous localisations which are mainly observed in diabetic and burned patients. The cutaneous lesions induced by the mucormycosis affection are often atypical and gangrenous. We report a case of cutaneous mucormycosis in a Tunisian patient with diabetic ketoacidosis. He developed cutaneous necrotic lesions at the low limb.
