Hydatid cyst is a serious parasitic infection in places, which people has a close contact with dogs or sheep. They may be found as an incidental findings during routine clinical examination or even followed by radiographic or ultrasonography evaluation. The disease becomes more complicated if rupture of the cysts occurs due to blunt trauma or spontaneously increases of intra-cystic pressure. Here, we reported a case of hydatid liver cyst that ruptured into the peritoneal cavity after blunt abdominal trauma.

The migration of [125I]UdR labelled mesenteric (MLN) and peripheral T immunoblasts (PLN) has been followed in mice with multiple sites attractive to immunoblasts. Multiple shunt revisions are a formidable challenge in neurosurgery, as the surgeon faces progressive difficulties in finding suitable distal sites for implantation. Gallbladder offers an alternative safe implantation site of distal catheter in case of repeated peritoneal failures. We describe two such cases done in our institute in this brief report. One case has long term functioning shunt, whist other had complications. Relevant literature is also briefly reviewed here.

A 68-year-old man with epigastric pain was admitted for acute pancreatitis and obstructive jaundice caused by Primary pancreatic malignant lymphoma. Computed tomography showed diffuse enlargement of the whole pancreas and dilation of the main pancreatic duct and bile duct. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography was performed to decompress these dilated ducts. A substantial portion of the lymphocyte-like cells in induced peritoneal exudates derive from cells which enter the blood by way of the thoracic duct.
