Herpes Zoster is a neuro-cutaneous disorder caused by reactivation of Varicella-Zoster Virus. A number of factors such as old age, psychological stress, low immune states, radiation exposure and physical trauma have been implicated for reactivation. The involvement of the internal carotid artery in dissecting aneurysm is rarely reported in the literature and may occur as a complication of trauma, surgery, and other medical conditions. We report a case of a 22-year-old male who was involved in a motor vehicle accident with associated multiple orthopedic and maxillofacial fractures. During surgical management, the patient was incidentally diagnosed with a dissecting aneurysm involving the right internal carotid artery.

Intranasal lobular hemangioma of the inferior turbinate is a rare occurrence in children. A 12-year-old girl presented with a two-month history of multiple epistaxis episodes. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography showed a large nasal mass in the right nasal cavity. Endonasal endoscopic excision of the hemangioma with cauterization of the feeding vessel was performed to remove the lesion completely. There was no recurrence at 11 months follow-up.

Neck swellings that appear on straining, crying, and Valsalva maneuver are usually suggestive of laryngocele. Phlebectasia of jugular veins can cause a similar sign but is rare compared to laryngocele. Jugular vein phlebectasia (JVP) is of unknown etiology and is caused by vein dilatation without tortuosity, which is rare in children. It transiently appears during straining as a soft cystic neck mass. Such cases are frequently misdiagnosed or managed inappropriately due to their rarity. We report a case of a four-year-old boy with right internal JVP and right hydrocele.
