We have reviewed in a retrospective study 38 children treated in our Hospital, during the last seven years, because of non congenital gall-bladder disease. The diagnosis established were cholelithiasis 58 for 100, hydrops 26 for 100, acalculous cholecystitis 13 for 100 and hemobilia in one child. Cholelithiasis was more frequent in females at a rate of 2/1. Just the opposite incidence was found for acalculous gall-bladder pathology. The adrenals are paired glands that lie in the retroperitoneum and have a close anatomic relation to the kidneys. Each gland has a cortex and a medulla, which act as separate entities. The adrenals are affected by various pathologic conditions, including congenital abnormalities, hypofunction, nodular enlargement, hyperplasia, and malignant and benign tumors. The histopathology of the uterine and salpingeal epithelium of five cows affected with genital tuberculosis was studied. Both optical and scanning electron microscopy were used and the results were compared. Various forms and degrees of cellular lesions are described, including hypertrophy, flattening, detachment, nuclear protrusions and alterations of the cilia. In the different sites considered (uterus: intercaruncular and caruncular areas; salpinges: isthmus and ampulla) various characteristic lesions were observed.

AIDS is characterised by the onset of opportunistic infections and/or neoplasms usually of the lungs, digestive tract and CNS. Eyes of cutaneous melanoma-bearing miniature Sinclair swine were examined by light and electron microscopy during growth and maturation of animals. Hydatidiform moles are divided into two syndromes: those of complete and partial moles. Both forms are genetically, morphologically, and clinically distinct. Urachal abnormalities may provoke especially urinary tract infections. They become symptomatically first of all in the childhood. The development of urachal carcinoma is particularly described in the adult. The features of diagnosis and treatment will be presented with clinical examples. The only possible treatment of those malformations is the operative removal of the urachal tissue.
