OBJECTIVE: To determine the possibility of curing chronic dacryocystitis by probing through naso-lacrimal duct under endoscopy.
METHOD: 30 adult eyes with chronic dacryocystitis were divided into two groups: 20 treated under endoscopy as endoscopy group and 10 under rhinoscope as control.

We established a chronic dacryocystitis model by injecting of 0.05, 0.1, and 0.15 ml self-curing resin via the lacrimal punctum in rabbits.
