Candida albicans is the most prevalent opportunistic pathogenic fungus in humans, and its extracellular vesicles (EVs) play crucial roles in its growth and pathogenesis. Data on the clinicopathological features of NRG1 fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) are limited. We conducted a retrospective, multicenter study and included patients with NRG1 fusion-positive NSCLC diagnosed between January 2018 and February 2025. Myocardial injuries lead to cardiomyocyte loss and heart failure. Endogenous glucocorticoids, via the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), limit cardiomyocyte regeneration. Here we show that glucocorticoids suppress mammalian (murine) cardiomyocyte proliferative response to regenerative growth factors and cytokines.
