For many years, the intraocular lymphatic system and particularly the drainage of the aqueous humor by this system have been considered non-existant. Our study is the first to demonstrate, in a dynamic in vivo fashion, the existence of lymphatic drainage in the mouse eye. The anodic electrochemical oxidations of ReCp(CO)3 (1, Cp = eta(5)-C5H5), Re(eta(5)-C5H4NH2)(CO)3 (2), and ReCp*(CO)3 (3, Cp* = eta(5)-C5Me5), have been studied in CH2Cl2 containing [NBu4][TFAB] (TFAB = [B(C6F5)4]-) as supporting electrolyte. Radiation synovectomy is a safe and effective treatment for chronic haemophilic synovitis causing recurrent haemarthroses. This study reports results of 29 188Re-sulfide radiation synovectomies in knee joint with a follow-up 18 months. Using the absorbed dose factor, three groups of radioactivity dose (555 MBq, 687 MBq and 917 MBq) were used according to the synovium thickness that measured by MRI. Twelve Re(I) tricarbonyl diimine (2,2'-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline) complexes with thiotetrazolato ligands have been synthesised and fully characterised.
