Pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma (PSH) is a rare benign tumor of the lungs. These tumors are composed of cuboidal surface cells and polygonal stromal cells and show four histological manifestations: hemorrhagic, papillary, solid, and sclerotic. PSH predominantly affects asymptomatic middle-aged women. The tumor often occurs at the intralobar site, and less commonly in the bronchus and mediastinum. A 76-year-old man had suffered from asthma since age 6. His asthma had recently worsened due to pneumonia. At a local clinic, he was given steroids and antibiotics for more than a week. Extranodal marginal zone lymphoma (EMZL) is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma characterized by the malignant transformation of lymphoid tissue at sites affected by chronic inflammation. Pleural marginal zone lymphoma (PMZL) is an infrequent manifestation of this condition. We report a case of PMZL co-occurring with primary lung adenocarcinoma. This case involves an 88-year-old female patient who presented to the emergency department with recurrent pleural effusions and symptoms suggestive of decompensated heart failure. This study delineated the characteristics of 24 (11.2%) culture-positive, influenza-associated pulmonary aspergillosis (IAPA) patients out of 215 patients with severe influenza during 2016-2019 in a medical center in southern Taiwan.
