Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease is an emerging new clinicopathological disorder that is characterized by elevation of serum IgG4 levels and histological findings of IgG4-positive plasmacytic infiltration. We present 3 cases with abnormal accumulation of FDG in the aortic wall. Their clinical manifestations were vague or asymptomatic, and laboratory data were consistent with inflammatory reaction. In 88 patients operations confirmed the causes of obstruction including pyelo-ureteral junction obstruction (pujo, 46 cases), anomalous (15), retroperitoneal fibrosis (15), ureteral polyps and valves and others (12). Splenic artery pseudoaneurysm is a rare and potentially fatal condition. In the present report, we describe the case of a 50-year-old woman with chronic pancreatitis who presented with worsening abdominal pain. Sorafenib is currently the gold standard therapy for palliative treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with compensated liver disease. IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is relatively a new growing entity of immune-mediated origin, characterized by a mass-forming lesion, the infiltration of IgG4-positive plasma cells and occasionally elevated serum IgG4. Obstructive uropathy is the common presentation course for various processes with an origin either intraluminar, parietal or extraluminar. A total of 18 patients underwent an operation for extensive ureteral loss from 1980 to 1986. The indications included recurrent calculi, retroperitoneal fibrosis, surgical trauma and tumor. Of the patients 10 had construction of an ileal ureter (4 had bilateral reconstruction), 6 had creation of a psoas hitch with a Boari bladder tube and 2 were treated by autotransplantation. OBSERVATION: A 70-year-old man had a central diabetes insipidus, xanthelasmas, retroperitoneal fibrosis and osteosclerosis of the legs suggestive of Erdheim-Chester disease. We retrospectively reviewed 10 patients (7 males and 3 females) who were treated with ileal interposition for long gap ureteral loss between 1989-1995. The mean patient age was 42 years old (35-52), mean ureteral gap was 18 cms (10-25). The etiology of ureteral loss included: 4 retroperitoneal fibrosis, 2 recurrent stone, 2 after pancreatitis and its complication and 2 after ureteral injury. The mean follow-up was 4 years (2-7).
