We report a case of refractory Fusarium paronychia in a 42-year-old man with Behçet's disease receiving oral cyclosporin and corticosteroid. Symptoms resembling candidal paronychia of his little finger could not be cured by topical ketoconazole and oral terbinafine. The pathogen was identified as Fusarium solani species complex by gene analysis, and was multiple drug resistant. The case eventually resolved by occlusive dressing therapy with 0.5% amorolfine cream for 3 months.

BACKGROUND: The pathogenesis of chronic hand eczema (CHE) is multifactorial. Certain life-style factors have been suggested as potential triggers of the disease, among them tobacco smoking. BACKGROUND: The initial presentation of pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is virtually indistinguishable from a pyogenic infection, making débridement appear necessary. However, operative approaches often lead to exacerbation and rapid extension through pathergy.

We report a case of peripheral ulcerative keratitis associated with neutrophilic dermatosis of the dorsal hand, a recently described clinical entity. A 68-year-old man presented with concurrent peripheral ulcerative keratitis of the right eye and neutrophilic dermatosis of the dorsal hand causing pustular skin eruptions on the dorsal surface of both hands. Systemic investigations suggested an underlying diagnosis of Wegener's granulomatosis. To our knowledge this is the first reported case of neutrophilic dermatosis of the dorsal hand associated with ocular complications.

We report a case of erysipeloid in a 73-year-old woman. The disease was characterized clinically by erythematous and erosive lesions on three fingers of the left hand. Diagnosis was made based on the patient's occupation (housewife), history of previous traumatic contact with a scorpion fish, typical inflammatory lesions located on one hand, lack of severe systemic features, mild laboratory abnormalities and rapid remission after specific treatment.
