INTRODUCTION: Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the breast is a rare neoplasm accounting for 0.1% of breast carcinomas.
PRESENTATION OF CASE: A 30 year old female patient presented with multiple lumps in the right breast. Excision biopsy of a lump in the lower outer quadrant revealed adenoid cystic carcinoma. A right sided modified radical mastectomy (MRM) was performed, with axillary clearance. Sixty-two cases of carcinoma within a breast fibroadenoma are adequately documented in the literature, including the present case. All are found in women. The mean age of occurrence is 42.4 years. A 65 year-old lady with metastatic breast cancer presented with pituitary apoplexy. Following surgery, histopathology confirmed metastatic breast carcinoma into a gonadotroph cell adenoma of the pituitary. Tumours that metastasise to a normal pituitary gland are unusual. More so, such neoplasm-to-neoplasm metastasis is extremely rare. This is, as far as we are aware, the first description of a metastasis into a gonadotroph cell pituitary adenoma presenting as apoplexy.

Extramedullary plasmacytoma is a rare type of tumour consisting of monoclonal plasma cells found in soft tissues. Breast plasmacytomas account for less than 1% of all breast neoplasms. Breast plasmacytomas are challenging to identify on imaging due to nonspecific features. Their rarity as a cause of breast lump presents a management challenge to breast clinicians. Official guidance on management in the breast is lacking. We report a case of a 100-year-old woman who was diagnosed with multiple extramedullary plasmacytomas after an incidental finding of a right breast mass on a CT scan.

The parapharyngeal space is a complex anatomical area, which can give rise to a variety of both primary and metastatic neoplasms. We present an unusual case of metastatic adenocarcinoma of the breast, masquerading as a deep lobe parotid neoplasm, 15 years after the primary presentation. Two patients are reported with coexisting adenocarcinomas of pancreas and breast. One represents synchronous neoplasms, the other metachronous tumors diagnosed 7 years apart. The significance of these findings is discussed, including possible carcinogenic dietary factors common to both neoplasms.
