Molecular dynamics simulations examined the roles of molecular structure, thermodynamic compatibility, intermolecular association, and mixture composition in the supercritical CO2 extraction of ten crude oil components at 363.15 K and 15 MPa. Single-component extraction ratios ranged from 80.70% for n-hexane to 5.85% for 2-naphthol. This study developed a Shifted-Excitation Raman Difference Spectroscopy (SERDS) system integrated with a microscopic Raman system (μRaman) to reduce background interference in Raman spectroscopy. Salicylate administration increased glucuronyltransferase activity, with o-aminophenol as the substrate, in chicken kidney homogenates, but did not affect glucuronyltransferase activity in chicken liver homogenates. CONTEXT: Myeloid sarcoma is a neoplasm of myeloid cells that can arise before, concurrent with, or following acute myeloid leukemia. Rarely, it can also occur as an isolated mass.
OBJECTIVE: To describe the clinicopathologic features of 6 patients with myeloid sarcoma involving the breast.
