Anorexia nervosa is a complex psychiatric disorder with endocrinologic manifestations primarily affecting adolescent females. Descriptions of female-to-male transsexuals who are sexually attracted to men are rare. This is a report on nine of them. Using the case of an average gifted 15 years old youth with Klinefelter-syndrome (ks), who acted in a sexually aggressive manner, first the characteristics of this syndrome are described. In the following personality development and family background are compared to three hitherto published case examples of youths with ks or similar symptomatics on the one hand, and forty other sexually aggressive acting youths without ks on the other hand. In closing the possible significance of a treatment with a testosterone substitute is discussed.

In a search to uncover variables predictive of psychosocial adjustment of male transsexuals, this study examined features which have been empirically linked to characteristics of male transsexual typology. Data from 25 male transsexual volunteers were examined by means of multiple regression analysis to determine whether symptoms of introversion, depression, or tension, as well as adjustment to work and gender reorientation could be linked to the typological variables of androphilia, gynephilia, cross-gender fetishism, feminine gender identity in childhood, and age of onset of transsexualism.

Hypoactive sexual desire is an ubiquitous and challenging disorder that is often associated with other psychiatric or medical conditions.
