Fibroepithelial polyp of the trigone of bladder conditioning an occlusive syndrome at the bladder cervix level causing secondary multidiverticular bladder with ureterohydro-nephrosis and chronic bilateral pyelonephritis. Besides the rare vesical location for the fibroepithelial polyps, the case also presents some atypical stromal cells.

Giant colonic diverticulum, defined as a single diverticulum ≤ 4 cm, is rarely encountered. Due to the high incidence of complications related to the disease, obtaining the correct diagnosis early in the disease course is essential. Diagnosis is usually reached by conventional and cross-sectional abdominal radiography. Treatment decisions should be ideally made by a multidisciplinary discussion among surgeons, interventional radiologists, and the patient. The treatment of choice is the surgical management by open or laparoscopic approach.

Clinico-anatomical studies were carried out in patients with sclerosis of the bladder neck. Specimens for histologic examination were obtained by transurethral resection or transvesical excision of the bladder neck. Histologic changes indicative of chronic nonspecific inflammatory process were found in the majority of cases. The most seldom finding was hypertrophy of the bladder neck muscular tissue.

Two rare cases of cervico-urethral obstructive lesions are described, illustrating two typical examples of the twofold pathogenic possibilities of the affection. The first patient had a probably congenital cervico-trigonal cyst due to a ureteral bud in the bladder wall. The second case presented different symptoms and signs, and this together with histology findings suggested an acquired nature of the lesion from cystic transformation of an infected glandular structure.
