The antibody response of patients with gluten-sensitive enteropathy and dermatitis herpetiformis against alcohol-soluble prolamines of wheat, rye, barley, oats and corn assessed by immunoblotting was compared to the staining patterns produced by monoclonal antigliadin antibodies.
