Zic family member ZIC4 is a transcription factor that has been shown to be silenced in several cancers. In utero isolated ductal closure is uncommon and can lead to fetal hydrops and death if not recognized. Five fetuses were diagnosed prenatally by echocardiography. The reasons for referral were hydrops (2), cardiomegaly (1), polyhydramnios and choroid plexus cyst (1), and polyhydramnios and teratoma of the neck (1). PURPOSE: To report a case of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) associated with optic disk melanocytoma successfully treated with bevacizumab.
METHODS: A 63-year-old man complained of visual impairment in his left eye. His visual acuity was 0.9 OS. Fundus examination showed optic disk melanocytoma associated with serous retinal detachment and mild hemorrhage. Fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography revealed CNV adjacent to the optic disc. OBJECTIVE: To determine if histograms of apparent diffusion coefficients (ADC) can be used to differentiate paediatric brain tumours.

Cerebral vascular malformations are congenital anomalies of the development of the cerebral vascular tree due to defective maturation of the embryonic vascular system. In terms of pathological anatomy they may be classified into: telangiectasias, cavernous angiomas, venous angiomas and arteriovenous malformations (AVM).
