Photochromic hydrogels have great potential for inkless printing, smart display devices, anti-counterfeiting and encryption. However, the short information storage time limits their large-scale application. In this study, a sodium alginate/polyacrylamide photochromic hydrogel with ammonium molybdate as the color change factor was prepared. The addition of sodium alginate was beneficial to the improvement of the fracture stress and elongation at break. A discussion of the various parasympathetic depressants is presented. Belladonna alkaloids include atropine, the prototype, and scopolamine. Synthetic drugs include quaternary ammonium compounds with antimuscarinic activity such as methantheline, propantheline, and other drugs such as isopropamide, pipenzolate methylbromide, and diphemanil methylsulfate. A miscellaneous class of drugs such as hemicholinium, valethamate, and oxybutynin chloride also possesses parasympathetic depressant activity. The pharmacologic properties and clinical usage of these drugs are discussed.

BACKGROUND: Huntingtin (HTT) is an important gene for cellular processes such as autophagy, and its loss leads to neurodegenerative disease phenotypes. In Dictyostelium discoideum, HTT-null (htt-) cells exhibit impaired basal autophagy and fail to develop in the presence of ammonium chloride.

Chloride-cation Transporter Blockers (CTBs) furosemide and ammonium were used to test the effects of changes in the internal [Cl-] on the spontaneous and miniature GABAergic post-synaptic currents (PSCs) of CA3 pyramidal cells of rat hippocampal slices with the whole-cell patch technique. The objective of this study was to determine if plasticized polyvinyl chloride film would support the growth of any of nine species of fungi. The film was suspended in distilled water with no nutrients or with glucose or ammonium sulfate. In vitro microperfusion experiments were performed to determine whether chronic metabolic acidosis or chronic alterations in sodium intake cause adaptive changes in bicarbonate or ammonium transport in the medullary thick ascending limb (MTAL) of the rat.
