Previous studies have shown an association between macrophages and CD3+ T-lymphocytes with sIA wall degeneration and rupture but the roles of T-lymphocyte subtypes and B-lymphocytes are poorly understood. An aortic aneurysm infected by Brucella is rarely seen. In this case report, we describe a Brucella mycotic abdominal aortic aneurysm acquired from ingestion of sheep placenta. Clinical symptoms included fever, fatigue, and abdominal pain. Diagnosis was confirmed by blood culture and computed tomography (CT) angiography. Marfan syndrome is an autosomal dominant disorder with rheumatoid, ophthalmological, neurological, cutaneous and cardiovascular manifestations. We report the case of a primitive trigeminal artery aneurysm associated with an ipsilateral middle cerebral artery aneurysm. A 64-year-old Caucasian woman suffered from a severe acute headache. A head CT scan displayed subarachnoid hemorrhage and subsequent cerebral angiography showed right, wide-necked persistent trigeminal artery and ipsilateral middle cerebral artery aneurysms. The patient underwent embolization of both aneurysms with Guglielmi detachable coils. The association of a PPTA aneurysm and an ipsilateral MCA aneurysm has not been reported in the English literature.

We report the case of a 29-year-old woman in whom a saccular aneurysm of the distal anterior cerebral artery developed following head trauma due to a car accident. She was semicomatose on admission but had no lateralizing motor signs. Reflexes were symmetrical, with bilateral extensor toe sign. Five cases of syphilitic aortic aneurysm with erosion of the spinal column are reviewed. Four patients underwent operation. When erosion of the spine was mild or moderate, the aortic lesion only was treated. Aneurysm associated with extensive vertebral erosion was treated in two cases by anterior spinal fusion combined with replacement of the disc and part of the aorta. In one of these cases the spine was later reinforced by a posterior spinal fusion. One patient so treated died a week after operation. The patient who refused operation later developed a complete paraplegia.

Intracranial aneurysms commonly present with subarachnoid hemorrhage. Rarely, they may attain a large size and manifest exclusively as intracranial space-taking lesions. We have collected a series of 48 cases of large aneurysms; 47 of them have been previously unpublished. To our knowledge, this is the largest series on this subject.
