Chromoblastomycosis is a chronic subcutaneous fungal infection caused by dematiaceous saprophytic moulds. We report a case of chromoblastomycosis due to Fonsecaea pedrosoi observed in man from the Baja region of Tunis. He presented since one year an erythemato-squamous atrophic plaque localised at the abdomen area. Clinical remission was obtained after cryotherapy and terbinafine.

We report a case of endophthalmitis caused by the fungus Lasiodiplodia theobromae. A 68-year-old man was referred to the hospital for right ocular pain since experiencing right ocular branch trauma 2 weeks before. The best-corrected acuity was limited to hand motion. Sporothrix schenckii is a pathogenic fungus for man and animal. Its perfect form is not yet known. The study was conducted in 2 French Provinces free of sporotrichosis. Of 40 samples (soil, plant fragments, . . .) taken from Corsica, 59 isolations were obtained.
