: Acquired von Willebrand syndrome (AVWS) is a rare hemorrhagic condition that poses both a diagnostic and a therapeutic challenge. Here we report a singular case of AVWS with two associated conditions, small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and Sjögren's syndrome. The patient presented with recurrent and severe digestive bleeding that forced us to raise a curative attempt of AVWS. Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) and the marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) subtypes (nodal MZL, extra-nodal MZL of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT lymphoma) and splenic MZL) are uncommon lymphoma subtypes, accounting for less than 5-10% of all non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The evidence base for therapy is therefore limited and enrolment into clinical trials is preferred. INTRODUCTION: Bendamustine , a cytotoxic agent comprising structural features of both an alkylating drug and a purine nucleoside analog, was approved by the US FDA for treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Alkylating agents form the basis of most combination treatment regimens for low-grade lymphoproliferative disorders. Bendamustine is a unique alkylating agent that has distinctive preclinical activity in cell lines resistant to other alkylators. Objectives: This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of bendamustine in combination with rituximab (BR regimen) for the treatment of newly diagnosed indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (B-iNHL) and elderly mantle cell lymphoma (eMCL) . INTRODUCTION: Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a potentially curative treatment for patients with relapsed and refractory classic Hodgkin lymphoma (rrHL). However, the optimal conditioning regimen and GVHD prophylaxis for rrHL remain undetermined. The aim of this study was to investigate outcomes of allo-HSCT with a fludarabine plus bendamustine (FluBe) conditioning regimen and GVHD prophylaxis with posttransplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCY) in patients with rrHL.

Splenic marginal zone lymphomas (SMZLs) are rare indolent B cell neoplasms that affect the spleen, bone marrow, and blood. PURPOSE: Immune hemolytic anemia (IHA) may complicate the course of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), especially in patients with advanced disease, and as a complication of treatment with chlorambucil or fludarabine.
