Fallopian tube prolapse is a rare complication of hysterectomy, characterized by vaginal discharge, abdominal pain, pelvic inflammatory disease and vaginal bleeding. The diagnosis is often delayed, and is usually done after an histopathological examination identifies fallopian tube on biopsy. The advised treatment is surgical resection, which can be done through vaginal incision, abdominally or by laparoscopy. Sixty-three women treated for primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube (PFTC) from 1980-1995 were retrospectively analyzed to study the impact of p53 expression on survival in primary carcinoma of the fallopian tube. The mean age of the patients was 61.2 years (range 37.3-80.2). Twenty-four (38%) patients were FIGO stage I, 11 (18%) stage II, 19 (30%) stage III and nine (14%) stage IV. BACKGROUND: Angiomyofibroblastoma is a rare tumor that occurs most commonly in the vulva and vagina.
CASE: A 28-year-old woman, gravida 1, para 1, presented with secondary infertility. Pelvic ultrasound showed a multicystic mass that further imaging found to be septated and extended to the umbilicus. At laparotomy, a 25 x 14 x 4 cm mass originating from the left fallopian tube and the tube were excised. Pathologic examination confirmed an angiomyofibroblastoma of the fallopian tube.

A 45-year-old woman presented severe right lower abdominal pain. Transabdominal sonography demonstrated bilateral adnexal cystic masses. At surgery, these cystic masses were bilateral simple hydrosalpinges with torsion of the right side. She had previously had tubal ligation. When we encounter an adnexal torsion, we should consider tubal torsion when there is a history of tubal ligation.

Clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic characteristics of a case of a fallopian tube adenocarcinoma splenic metastasis are reported. This case illustrates the diagnostic difficulties of this situation. These difficulties are both related to the poorly specific symptomatology and the low specificity of the current imagery. Percutaneous biopsy aspiration guided by ultrasonography or CT-scan could be helpful. The treatment is surgery, eventually combined with adjuvant radiotherapy: it can allow a long survival time. Splenic metastasis should be systematically checked up in every tumoral context.

A solitary granuloma containing a gravid female pinworm was incidentally found in the fallopian tube of a 27 year old woman. On rare occasions, pinworms have been found outside the gastrointestinal tract, most frequently in the peritoneal cavity. The reported cases have been found at all levels of the female reproductive tract from the introitus to the fallopian tube.
