Dipalmitoyl lecithin, the major alveolar surfactant, has previously been estimated by measuring the lecithin-sphingomyelin ratio, total lecithin, total phospholipid phosphorus, and (or) total palmitic acid. This study presents a novel Cyclophosphamide (CYC) microemulsion designed to overcome limitations of conventional formulations, including poor aqueous solubility, instability, and rapid degradation. The booster responses of three different formulations of intranasal (i.n.) diphtheria-tetanus (D-T) vaccines were determined in military recruits and compared with a conventional subcutaneous D-T vaccine.
