We evaluated cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), biogenic amines, and white matter status in six Kearns-Sayre syndrome (KSS) patients. Six female cats, varying in susceptibility to motion sickness, were implanted with chronic cannulae in the rostral portion of the fourth ventricle. The cats were then challenged with a motion sickness-inducing stimulus.
