The aim of this study was to study the clinical effectiveness of a structured home modeling (HM) protocol in Peyronie's disease (PD) patients who have residual curvature up to 45° after inflatable penile prosthesis (PP) placement. Low flow priapism is a urologic emergency because it leads to erectile dysfunction due to cavernosal fibrosis. Several treatments exist, including cavernosal aspiration, washing with or without alpha-mimetic agent or shunting surgery. In case of failure of these methods or prolonged priapism (superior to 36 hours), the option of early penile prostheses implantation should be discussed with a motivated patient in order to improve sexual satisfaction.

The Cooley-Cutter prosthesis is a caged-disc mechanical heart valve introduced by Dr Cooley in the 1960s. Although the valve has been implanted worldwide in more than 3,000 patients, there is a lack of detailed data on its long-term performance, only anecdotal reports. We report the case of a patient who had undergone aortic valve replacement with a Cooley-Cutter prosthesis 39 years earlier for rheumatic disease on a tricuspid aortic valve and in whom a proximal aortic aneurysm had subsequently developed.
