BACKGROUND: Complete cytoreduction is the most important prognostic factor in ovarian cancer. However, there exist conflicting data on whether the removal of microscopic tumor metastasis in macroscopically unsuspicious retroperitoneal lymph nodes is beneficial.

IgG4-related sclerosing disease(IgG4-RSD) is a kind of lymphoplasmacytic disease with multi-organ involvement and is characterized by serum IgG4 elevation and tissue IgG4 positive plasma cell infiltration. IgG4-related systemic disease is a new clinical entity with a large variety of clinical symptoms that can affect almost all organs. The best known manifestations are retroperitoneal fibrosis and autoimmune pancreatitis. We present 3 patients aged 71, 83 and 70 years, with malaise, fatigue and swellings suggestive of a malignancy. Inflammatory aortic aneurysms (IAAs) represent a rare form of aortic aneurysms. Compared with atherosclerotic aneurysms, patients with IAA h … ty rate was 11.1% (five patients; four conventional, one endovascular). On 10 patients (47.6%), the retroperitoneal fibrosis was no longer detectable. After operative repair, the majority of cases presented with a distinct regression of inflammation. Endovascular treatment of IAA represents a feasible alternative procedure to open aortic repair.

We report an unusual case of a patient with diminished cardiac output caused by systemic venous occlusions of unclear etiology with a history of idiopathic fibrosing mediastinitis and retroperitoneal fibrosis. On thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic venograms, the patient was previously known to have superior vena caval and infrarenal inferior vena caval occlusions. In seven studies of complicated and recurrent urinary tract infections, 285 patients were treated with norfloxacin 400 mg b.i.d. for 7-90 days. The majority of the patients were men, and many were elderly. Underlying diseases included nephrolithiasis, pyelonephritis, prostatism, bacterial prostatitis, prostate cancer, retroperitoneal fibrosis, quadriplegia/paraplegia, neurogenic bladder, and urethral stricture. BACKGROUND: Major life-threatening complications secondary to cisplatin-based chemotherapy are rare in patients with testicular germ cell tumour (GCT). The incidence of complications increases with dosage of chemotherapy and with a variety of patient-related as well as disease-related conditions.
