Since 1998 a cat-transmitted epidemic of sporotrichosis has been observed in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil. Sorafenib is an oral multikinase inhibitor with clinical activity against hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and renal cell carcinoma.
