A 32-year-old woman with a history of undergoing upper gastrointestinal surgery was administered prednisolone for abortive Behçet's disease since 2015. A case of multinodular hypertrophic pyloric stenosis is described in a 57-year-old woman. Over a 3-month interval, there was progressive enlargement of several mucosal nodules overlying hypertrophied muscularis, and one nodule obstructed the pyloric opening. Results of the treatment of 70 patients with chemical burns of the stomach and esophagus were studied. Isolated burns of the stomach were diagnosed in 33 patients (47%), associated burns of the stomach and esophagus--in 37 patients (53%). The operation of choice for isolated burns of the stomach may be Billroth-2 resection, while for complete cicatrization of the stomach it was gastrectomy. In a series of 50 patients with cancer of the pancreas who wee undergoing resection of the pancreatic head and the duodenum, the average survival was 16.2 months. BACKGROUND AND AIMS: EUS-guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE) is a minimally invasive technique for gastric outlet obstruction (GOO). EUS-guided balloon-occluded gastrojejunostomy bypass (EPASS) aims to improve stent deployment and minimize migration in EUS-GE. In this study, we evaluated the long-term outcomes of EPASS.
