OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the characteristics of arthropathy and musculoskeletal pain after chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: In this study, we evaluate the characteristics of 15 patients with joint symptoms after receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer. BACKGROUND: Bullous lichen sclerosus is an uncommon observation after radiotherapy and can be misdiagnosed as a radiodermitis or recurrence of the neoplasia.
CASE REPORT: Two women developed bullous lichen sclerosus after radiotherapy. The delay after radiotherapy was 4 months and 10 years respectively. Irradiation dose was 60 and 64 grays. The lesions covered more than the irradiated zone in one case. Stabilization or regression of the lesions was obtained with cases I topical corticosteroids, with acitretine in one case.

We report on a series of 70 FNAs involving cutaneous and subcutaneous lesions on the scalp. In inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), obstructed lymphatics present a barrier to sentinel node biopsy. In theory this challenge could be overcome by clipping the clinically positive node at presentation and surgically retrieving it after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). If the clipped node accurately reflects the axillary status, then deescalation of axillary nodal dissection could be a possibility in IBC with complete pathological nodal response post-NAC.

Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), an aggressive and lethal breast cancer subtype, lacks unequivocal genomic differences or robust biomarkers that differentiate it from non-IBC. Here, TGIRT-seq revealed myriad differences in tumors, PBMC, and plasma RNAs that distinguished IBC patients from non-IBC patients and healthy donors across different tested breast cancer subtypes. By mapping reads to genome and transcriptome reference sequences and quantitating intron-to-exon read depth ratios (IDRs), we developed methods for parallel analysis of transcriptional and posttranscriptional gene regulation.
