Ebola virus disease (EVD--formerly known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever) is a severe hemorrhagic fever caused by lipid-enveloped, nonsegmented, negative-stranded RNA viruses belonging to the genus Ebolavirus. This paper is focused on disease Amaurosis Fugax (AF), indicating the necessary urgent therapy in attack of illnesses. In attack, the patient represents ophthalmic case, because of vision lost, but primary process and cause exists even earlier and very often is of chronical character. Authors emphasize sequencing in therapy of AF and accentuate that in 24 hours the cause of the disease may be defined. AF is a syndrome with very different etiopathogenesis, including also big complexity in diagnosis and therapy.

It is caused by the loss of RB1 tumor suppressor gene function, although some tumors occur due to MYCN oncogene amplification with normal RB1 genes. PURPOSE: Plus disease has become the major criterion for laser treatment in infants with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), but its assessment is subjective. Our purpose was to compare quadrant-level and eye-level assessment of plus disease and pre-plus disease among 3 experienced ROP examiners and to report their rate of agreement.
METHODS: One hundred eighty-one high-quality RetCam images from premature infants were graded by 3 of the authors. Dilation and tortuosity were judged separately using a scale of normal or sufficiently abnormal to meet criteria for pre-plus or plus disease.

Intravitreal (IVT) anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) therapies are the standard of care for retinal diseases such as neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and diabetic macular oedema (DMO). Despite the favourable efficacy and safety profiles of these therapies, decreasing the treatment burden is still an unmet need because frequent injections may be required over many years. The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of IVT therapies, such as ocular half-life and clearance, can affect the duration of VEGF suppression and thus influence clinical outcomes.
