PURPOSE: To measure retina/choroid complex perfusion with magnetic resonance imaging in eyes with acute primary angle-closure (APAC).
METHODS: Three sequences of magnetic resonance imaging, two anatomical and one perfusional using gadolinium, were acquired in patients who were diagnosed with acute primary angle-closure. BACKGROUND: We describe two cases of recurrent acute angle-closure attack in patients with plateau iris syndrome after cataract extraction. Argon laser peripheral iridoplasty and cataract extraction have been used to reduce the occurrence of acute angle-closure attack in plateau iris syndrome although the risk cannot be completely eliminated. There is no consensus on the long term management of plateau iris syndrome. This is, as far as we know, the first case report of recurrent acute angle-closure attack in plateau iris syndrome after cataract extraction.

Many neuro-ophthalmic conditions are associated with head or ocular pain; some are benign and others are potentially life-threatening. Rather than listing and describing numerous conditions, this article presents three cases interfacing neuro-ophthalmology and headache, with a discussion of the differential diagnosis, approach to obtaining the proper diagnosis, and management. The discussions are not intended to be exhaustive, but include conditions encountered in practice that present a diagnostic challenge. The main issues are highlighted for each clinical scenario.

A case of high, broad, peripheral anterior synechiae caused by multiple, bilateral iridociliary cysts is reported. The peripheral anterior synechia in our case extended to the corneal endothelium beyond Schwalbe's line, and iris atrophy in the region of the cysts was found. Ultrasound biomicroscopic imaging showed that multiple, bilateral iridociliary cysts causes elevation of the iris structure.
