METHODS: This study was designed as a cross-sectional, observational, retrospective study. The variables of the study were paracetamol overdose, demographic information, poisoning mechanisms, clinical, laboratory findings, and clinical progression of the cases. BACKGROUND: The use of neuromuscular blocking agents may affect intraoperative neuromonitoring during thyroid surgery. A selective neuromuscular recovery protocol was evaluated in a retrospective cohort study during human thyroid neural monitoring surgery.
METHODS: One hundred and twenty-five consecutive patients undergoing thyroidectomy with intraoperative neuromonitoring followed a selective neuromuscular block recovery protocol-single intubating dose of rocuronium followed by sugammadex if needed at the first vagal stimulation (V1).

Sixteen patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer were treated by continuous intraarterial chemotherapy of 5-FU and leucovorin. OBJECTIVES: Clozapine is an atypical antipsychotic drug used in the treatment of resistant schizophrenia. Intoxications with this drug are frequently observed. We report an unusual case of salicylate ingestion, as salsalate, with resolution of symptoms and return of salicylate levels to non-toxic values, with a subsequent, unexpected recrudescence to toxic levels requiring reinstitution of therapy.
