A 15-year-old girl was referred to our department because of persisten … right ovary was firm and enlarged, but the uterus and left ovary were normal. Diffuse thickness of retroperitoneal space was observed. Right salpingo-oophorectomy was performed, and the tumor was diagnosed as Burkitt lymphoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The extraperitoneal approach was performed to assess the lymph node histology in patients with gynecologic malignancies. The venous haemangioma is defined as a benign tumor consisting of vein-like vessels. BACKGROUND: Spontaneous hemorrhage is a rare but serious complication of dermatomyositis (DM).
METHODS: We report a 61-year-old man with anti-NXP2-positive DM who developed a retroperitoneal hematoma without anticoagulation, shortly after corticosteroid initiation.
RESULTS: Laboratory investigations demonstrated rhabdomyolysis, hepatic injury and coagulopathy. The patient was managed with red blood cell transfusion, factor VIII, high-dose corticosteroids and intravenous immunoglobulin, resulting in complete recovery.

BACKGROUND: Upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC) often requires nephroureterectomy. The retroperitoneal robotic approach, particularly using the hinotori system, may offer advantages, especially for smaller-framed patients.
