We aimed to define the gross anatomy of the supporting structures of the clitoris. We performed a dissection of the perineum of a series of 22 female and four male cadavers. Pilonidal disease is common among adolescents and adults, mainly located in the sacral area. Pilonidal disease involving the clitoris is extremely rare and has not been described in premenarcheal girls. We present a case of a recurrent pilonidal periclitoral cyst in an 8-year-old girl which was surgically treated.
