INTRODUCTION: World Health Organization (2019) has declared colorectal cancer (CRC) as the second most common cancer in females and third in males, where the incidence seems to rise year by year. One of the very few potential pathogens specifically associated with malignant colonic diseases is Streptococcus gallolyticus (Sg). Sg is a part of the intestinal flora which formerly known as biotype I of Streptococcus bovis, belongs to Group D streptococci. Owing to only a few researches done in determining evidence to support Sg as a determinant of CRC, a systematic review is constructed.

Acute subdural hematoma (ASDH) revealing mycotic aneurysm (MA) is an exceptional occurrence. We report 2 cases of MA-related pure ASDH in the course of infective endocarditis (IE) without history of head trauma, hypertension or coagulopathy. INTRODUCTION: Fever happens frequently in colon cancer but it is rarely the presenting manifestation.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: We report a case series of patients with colon cancer revealed by fever in the three military hospitals in Paris.

OBJECTIVES: Viridans group streptococci (VGS) have been previously linked to infective endocarditis (IE) in patients with mitral valve prolapse (MVP). The species identification of VGS is now available in clinical laboratories; however, it has not been examined in MVP IE.
