This article reports the development of a tool for measuring how comfortable a person feels when communicating with someone who has undergone treatment for stuttering. Developmental stuttering (DS) may be related to the extrapyramidal motor system and shares many clinical similarities with Tourette's syndrome (TS), which is widely believed to be associated with extrapyramidal dysfunction.
