In order to know mycosis frequency in the North of the State of Puebla, Mexico, in habitants from the communities of Ayotoxco, Mazatepec and Zacatipan were studied. Previous medical study biological samples were submitted to direct examination, smear and culture. Histoplasmin and sporotrichin skin test were applied to 57 individual from Zacatipan. This article presents the clinical features of a spectrum of pigmented lesions. It begins with benign lesions that may be confused with melanocytic nevi, such as lentigines, seborrheic keratoses, and dermatofibromas. The next section focuses on the various types of melanocytic nevi, including congenital, blue, and Spitz nevi. A description of atypical nevi is provided, followed by an outline of the clinical characteristics of each subtype of cutaneous melanoma. The clinical characteristics of various pigmented lesions are illustrated.

26 women with androgenization: hirsutism, acne, seborrhea, aged 18-30 were treated with Diane 35 during at least 12 cycles. In investigated group of patients acne was in remission in 82.4% after 3 cycles, seborrhea was reduced in 85.5% after 3 cycles and in 96.2% after 6 cycles. Hirsutism was reduced only in 19.2% women after 12 cycles. Diane 35 was well tolerated and effective in contraception all investigated women.

A methyl salicylate-buffered, croton oil-containing 50% salicylic acid ointment peel, following pretreatment with topical tretinoin and localized 20% trichloroacetic acid, is extremely effective for removal of lentigines, pigmented keratoses, and actinically damaged skin from the dorsum of the hands and forearms. The ease of application, uniform results, decreased risk of scarring, and one-time application of this peel, in comparison with other methods used for treatment of these aging-skin changes, warrants consideration by the dermatologic surgeon.

A rare case of hepatocellular carcinoma who developed the complication of the sign of Leser-Trelat is reported. The patient, a 57-year-old male, visited our hospital with complaints of generalized malaise and anorexia. A diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma was made based on elevated alpha-fetoprotein measurement, ultrasonography, and hepatic arteriography findings.
