PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: The purpose of the study was to evaluate the 24-hour nyctohemeral rhythm of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with untreated primary open angle glaucoma using a contact lens sensor. PURPOSE: To evaluate the effectiveness of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) on steroid-induced glaucoma.
METHODS: The study included 46 eyes of 41 subjects who were followed up for at least 12 months after SLT. The included 10 eyes with steroid-induced glaucoma, 16 eyes with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), 10 eyes with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PEX.G) and 10 eyes with mixed glaucoma (Mixed. G). Primary congenital glaucoma is an uncommon pediatric ocular disease contributing to a disproportionately high percentage of childhood blindness worldwide. This case report describes bilateral primary congenital glaucoma in monozygotic twins who first presented to an ophthalmologist in Ethiopia at 6 years of age.
